Revocable Living Trust

A family member passing away is never easy, but you can make the legal process much easier by creating a living trust today. We prepare your Revocable Living Trust in addition to your Last Will and Testament, Durable Power of Attorney, Medical Power of Attorney, HIPAA Authorization, Declaration of Guardian (for minors and adults) and Advance Directive. Advantages of a Revocable Living Trust include: passing all of your assets/estate to your beneficiaries with ease and without the need for probate, the ability to keep everything private and without a notice to creditors through the probate court, and reducing the opportunity for disputes.
Last Will and Testament, Durable Power of Attorney, Medical Power of Attorney, HIPAA Authorization, Declaration of Guardian (for minors and adults) and Advance Directive should be next subtitle (notice the changes I made to the title so just copy and past if you can) and then under it: We want you to feel comfortable knowing that you and your loved ones are taken care of now and always. It is our job to safeguard you and your family from whatever life might throw your way. And then in bullets underneath that:
  • Last Will and Testament: In Texas probate courts, the decedent’s estate with a Last Will and Testament is much easier and less costly to manage and distribute to beneficiaries than having no Will. If there is no Will, the distribution of your estate is left up to state law which could mean some undeserving beneficiaries receive a portion of your estate.
  • Durable Power of Attorney: allows you to appoint someone you trust to manage your financial affairs if you are unable to do so.
  • Medical Power of Attorney and HIPAA: allows you to appoint someone you trust to make important medical decisions if you are incapacitated.
  • Declaration of Guardian for Minor Children: allows you to make the ultimate decision about who raises your children without the fear that someone unworthy will try to do so.
  • Declaration of Guardian for Adults: allows you to make the ultimate decision about who becomes your guardian if you become incapacitated without the fear of being taken advantage of.
  • Advanced Directive: allows you to make the ultimate decision regarding life sustaining treatment if you are in a vegetative state.
